What we collect

Information you give us. When you request a site build or contact us, we collect what you enter: your name, business name, phone number, email address, your current website, and anything you write in the other fields.

Information collected automatically. When you visit chippersites.com, we and our service providers collect basic usage information such as the pages you view, the buttons you click, the type of device and browser you use, your approximate location (city or region, based on IP address), and the site that referred you. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this.

How we use it

• To review your request and build your website
• To contact you about your request, your website, and Chipper's services
• To send you occasional emails about Chipper. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
• To understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it
• To protect the site from spam and abuse

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the business. They process information on our behalf:

• Cloudflare hosts the site, stores request-form submissions, and provides spam protection (Turnstile)
• Postmark delivers the email notification of your request to us
• ActiveCampaign stores your contact details so we can follow up and send email
• Google Analytics measures how the site is used

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to tell visits apart. We do not use it for advertising. You can block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site works the same either way.

How long we keep it

We keep request-form submissions and contact records for as long as we have a business relationship with you or a reasonable need to follow up, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from our emails at any time. Email hello@chippersites.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

chippersites.com is for business owners. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date.
