Who's behind this
Hi, I'm Brandon. I've been a freelance web developer and internet marketer for 20 years.
Over that time, I kept seeing the same thing: good tradespeople paying month after month for a site nobody touched, and then having to call someone like me just to change a phone number, or add a picture.
I built Chipper to work the way I'd want it to if I was the customer. You pay once, you own it, and you can change it yourself.
I'm in Willard, Utah, and I answer my own phone.

Totally fair question. Most websites (like WordPress sites) run on a server that builds every page from scratch each time someone visits. That server has to be running, patched and maintained 24/7, and that's what the monthly hosting fee pays for.
Chipper sites are built differently: they're extremely lightweight and run on Cloudflare, one of the biggest networks on the internet. Serving a site like yours costs pennies, not dollars, so we don't bill you for it. No catch, just a more efficient way of building.
One flat setup fee. That covers designing and building your site, getting it set up on your domain, and showing you how to update it.
Just one: your domain name (yourbusiness.com). Domains renew every year, usually for about $10–20, and the domain is registered in your name, not ours.
The small cost of running the editor and backups behind the scenes is on us.
We don't charge one, and we don't plan to. Your site runs on Cloudflare, and at today's prices hosting a site like yours costs us next to nothing.
The honest fine print: Cloudflare sets its own prices, not us. If they ever change the rules so we can't host your site for free, we'll give you at least 60 days' notice and a choice: keep it hosted with us at our actual cost with no markup, or take a full copy of your site, free, and host it anywhere you like. Either way, the site stays yours.
You do. Your domain, your words and your photos all belong to your business.
You're never stuck. You can download your entire site right from day one as stand-alone files that can be hosted anywhere you want, or even converted to another platform like Wordpress, or Shopify.
Yes. We can build a fresh design or an improved version of what you have now, and you keep your existing domain name. We'll even show you your new site before you pay anything.
Yes. When we move your domain over, we carry your email settings across so your email keeps working like it always has. We handle the switch for you, or give you step-by-step instructions if you'd rather do it yourself.
Yes. Log in, click on the text or photo you want to change, and change it, right on the page, the same way it'll look to your customers. It works from your phone, so you can update your hours or add a photo of a finished job right from the truck.
Your text, photos, phone number, hours, services, reviews and gallery. The design itself (layout, colors, fonts) stays locked, so you can't accidentally break anything.
No problem. Your site keeps a history of your recent changes, so you can roll back to an earlier version. We also keep automatic backups behind the scenes.
No password to remember. You log in with your phone's Face ID, fingerprint or screen lock (the same way you unlock your phone), using what's called a passkey. You can set it up on more than one device, like your phone and your computer. If you ever lose access, we can send a login link to your email.
Every Chipper site is built with local search in mind. It loads fast, works on phones, and includes the behind-the-scenes information Google uses to understand what your business does and where you work. Nobody can honestly guarantee a top ranking on Google, but your site will give Google everything it needs to find you.
Very. Most small business sites get hacked through WordPress plugins, outdated software or a weak password. Chipper sites have none of those: no plugins, no public database and no password to steal.
Actual timelines vary depending on demand, but every site is built on a first come, first served basis... sometimes we're able to get a new site up the very same day.
Your business info (services, service area, hours, phone), and a handful of photos of your work if you have them, is enough to get us started.
Call, text or email us any time. Questions and help using the editor are always free. If you'd rather have us make changes for you, that's free for the first 90 days after you pay; after that we bill a reasonable hourly rate.
